This program is only for Suburban Cook County renters who have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and need rental assistance. To qualify for this program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Due to IHDA's inability to roll out the "program" in a timely fashion, the Governor continues to dump on every housing provider in the State.




NPR Illinois reports Governor J.B. Pritzker is considering extending a moratorium on evictions beyond the end of July.  During a stop in Rockford, Thursday, Pritzker was asked if he planned to renew the order when it expires at the end of the month.
