The State of Illinois, Cook County, and City of Chicago are developing new emergency COVID-19 rental assistance programs. Only one program is open, and the others are in development, so the following is subject to change.
The program serving people who live in Suburban Cook County (not Chicago) is open for applications! Tenants and landlords living in Suburban Cook County can apply at this link. Applications must be submitted before April 9th at 5pm.
Two statewide programs and a program serving the City of Chicago will open in April or May.
