RANDY WITTER, IMHA’s long-term lobbyist, was named by the national publication Association Trends as one of five "leading association lobbyists” at a Feb. 6 luncheon in Washington DC.
"Good lobbying, like good communication, means involving individuals, organizations and coalitions in the lawmaking process," Witter said in accepting the award. "Accurate information flow must be made in multiple directions to consider and achieve the common good when laws are made."
IMHA is both proud of the recognition accorded to Randy, and indeed fortunate to have him as part of the IMHA team representing and protecting our members at the state level in Illinois. We both salute him for his award, and thank him for his efforts on behalf of IMHA.
